four o clock in white rock

it's about four o clock right now and i'm at my parents house. i woke up here a couple hours ago and i haven't been able to sleep since, so i've been living it up on myspace and livejournal.

i spent about eight hours yesterday in the emergency room at the vancouver general hospital, getting intravenous saline solution and gravol for a highly upset stomach. it's been a hellacious couple of days. featuring my cold getting worse than it has been in a while, me getting into a car/bike accident (car door opening up right in front of me on the bike route) with potential of a concussion, and food poisoning or a stomach flu leading to eight hours of vomitting, potentially due to sikh temple. andy helped me immensely at home, and then he escorted me to the hospital in the morning and hung out with me for a few hours until my dad was able to come down. thank you so much dude. i owe you multiple veggie burgers this summer.

i missed the weakerthans and andy's going away party last night unfortunately. but on the bright side, i feel a lot better now, and i'll be heading into the city in the morning to party it up with the clorox girls -- twice! another bright side is that i've drank two bottles of gatorade today. that stuff tastes really good sometimes.
